The draftsman CAD / CAM will be responsible for technical drawing, 2D/3D and CAM programs using CAD/CAM software for manufacturing and production purpose.

·        Create detailed 2D / 3D CAD using CAD software (e.g AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.)

·        Prepare CNC programs through CAM software for machining operations.

·        Interpret engineering drawings, sketches and design specifications.

·        Modify and revise drawings based on client or engineering requirements.

·        Ensure all drawings comply with technical standards and company policies.

·        Coordinate with engineers, production teams and clients regarding design changes.

·        Maintain proper documentation for drawings and revisions.

·        Conduct design calculations and material estimation when required.

·        Assist in product development and prototype preparation.

·        Ensure accuracy and quality control before final submission to production. 

·        DAE diploma / B. Tech degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing or related field with a focus on designing & manufacturing in Mechanical Engineering.

·        Degree preferably from reputable and well-recognized institute.

·        Minimum 02-03 years in drafting & manufacturing and CAD/CAM applications.

·        Strong proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.

·        Experience in CNC programming and tool path generation.

·        Hands-on experience with prototyping, CNC and laser cutting machines.

·        Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as milling, turning and sheet metal fabrication.

·        Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric, Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

·        Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.

·        Understanding of material properties and machining parameters.

·        Strong teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Additional Notes

 

·        6-month probation including 2-3 months of structured training.

·        Final appointment to be confirmed after successful probation.
