The Manager (Firmware) will be responsible for designing, developing and optimizing DSP algorithms for embedded software and hardware platforms. This role requires hands-on experience with SDRs, RFSoCs and FPGA-based systems in close collaboration with system engineers, software developers and hardware teams to deliver reliable high-performance solutions.

·      Develop FGPA-based embedded firmware solutions. 

·      Work with LabVIEW FPGA framework, Vivado and related tools to build applications and interfaces.

·      Utilize SDR hardware (Analog Devices, Xilinx, NI platforms) for RF system integration. 

·      Perform system-level tasks such as hardware specification and complex issues troubleshooting.

·      Apply DSP algorithms and develop applications on National Instruments, Analog devices and custom SDR platforms.

·      Optimize firmware for performance, reduced computational load and system efficiency. 

·      Prepare detailed technical documentation (design, specs, manuals, testing reports).

·      Collaborate with hardware / software teams for integration into final products.

·      Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to system improvements.

·      PhD / MS in Electrical / Electronic or Avionics Engineering (minimum CGPA 3.0).

·      Degree preferably from HEC-recognized or reputable foreign institute. 

·      Minimum 5+  years in firmware development and implementation.

·      Preference would be given to candidates with experience in Embedded DSP platforms, FPGA design, or real-time processing. 

·      Proficiency in DSP theory and real-world implementation.

·      Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Xilinx tools, LabVIEW and Vivado.

·      Knowledge of DSP applications in communications, radar, audio, etc.

·      Strong foundation in embedded systems design (FPGA, DSP processors, MCUs).

·      Experience with hardware / software integration and system-level design.

·      Strong problem-solving, multitasking and documentation skills.

·      Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

 

Additional Notes

 ·     6-month probation including 2-3 months of structured training.

·      Final appointment to be confirmed after successful probation.
