The Assistant Manager (Firmware)will assist in the design, development and testing of embedded firmware for FPGA and DSP-based systems. This role provides hands-on experience in implementing DSP algorithms, debugging firmware and integrating embedded solutions under the mentorship of senior engineers. It is well-suited for candidates eager to build in SDR and embedded hardware platform-based designs.

·      Develop, debug and optimize embedded firmware for FPGAs, DSPs and microcontrollers. 

·      Implement and optimize DSP algorithms for real time applications.

·      Collaborate with hardware engineers for firmware integration.

·      Conduct unit / system testing and validation to ensure reliability and compliance. 

·      Work on embedded platforms such as SDRs, FPGA and DSP processors.

·      Analyze and improve existing firmware designs for efficiency and performance. 

·      Contribute to design documentation, manuals and test reports.

·      Support cross-functional teams during product integration.

·      Stay updated with DSP and embedded technologies for continuous improvements.

·      Bachelor’s / MS in Electrical / Electronics / Avionics Engineering (minimum CGPA 3.0).

·      Degree preferably from HEC-recognized or reputable foreign institute.

·      Candidates with up to 02 years of relevant experience will be preferred. 

·      Fresh graduates with strong RF / Microwave fundamentals may also apply.

·      Fundamentals of RF and microwave systems.

·      Practical knowledge of DSP implementation on embedded platforms.

·      Programming: LabVIEW (Host/FPGA), GNU Radio, Python.

·      Expertise with SDR platforms (VSA, USRP or custom SDR)

·      Understanding of hardware-software integration and system-level design.

·      Strong problem solving, documentation and teamwork skills.

·      Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

 

Additional Notes

 ·      6-month probation including 2-3 months of structured training.

·      Final appointment to be confirmed after successful probation.
