Assistant Manager (Quality Control) will be responsible to oversee and perform comprehensive quality verification of aerospace, mechanical, electronics systems and materials through final inspection ensuring strict adherence to specifications, material certifications, special process approvals and regulatory requirements. Lead first article inspections and non-conformance management, operating advanced inspection and test equipment to validate product conformity.

·        Performs incoming, in-process and final inspection of materials, composites, structures etc to verify requirements of mechanical systems, material certifications & shelf-life limits and physical condition as per approved specifications.

·        Performs comprehensive quality verifications across mechanical, electronics and materials disciplines inspecting structures, landing gears, hydraulics, engines, flight controls, PCBs, harnesses, LRUs & component placement, ESD controls, raw material certifications, traceability, special process approvals.

·        Executes first article inspections, managing non-conformances and ensuring strict regulatory adherence throughout the design and development lifecycle.

·        Operates inspection tools and test equipment including coordinate measuring machines and automated test equipment to validate product conformity across all disciplines.

·        Documents all inspection results and non-conformances in the quality management system.

·        Segregates and tags non-conforming items, initiates Non-Conformance Reports, and verifies rework or replacement before approving release to the next process.

·        Performs any other related duties as assigned by management.

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Avionics / Electronics / Aerospace / Mechanical / Materials Engineering.

·        3-5 years of quality control experience in aerospace industry.

·        Familiarity with composite materials and aircraft structures is a strong plus.

·        Working knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001, configuration management and first-article inspection processes.

·        Lead auditor certification or equivalent Quality related qualification is preferred.
